Enhanced Health & Safety measures in response to COVID-19

To make things safer for everyone…….

 

“We’re Good To Go” – Industry Standard

  • Holly House has achieved the “We’re Good To Go” standard

  • We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment in line with this standard

 

Booking Gaps

  • We have maintained gaps of 1-2 clear days between guest’s visits to allow safe cleaning by our Housekeeper and reduce the risk of virus spread

 

Enhanced Cleaning & Hygiene Regime

  • We are following protocols from the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caters (ASSC);

    • Enhanced and detailed cleaning checklist 

    • Extra care to high-touch surface areas

    • Linen and towels washed in accordance with the latest virus-control procedures.

    • Automated hand sanitiser dispenser provided

    • Anti-bacterial hand wash provided at every sink

Additional Guest Responsibilities

 

  • Please make sure you have read and understand our booking conditions and are covered by appropriate travel insurance

  • Contact information to be provided to support NHS Scotland’s Test & Protect service

  • Do not travel if you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of COVID-19

  • Please ensure that you have a confirmed ferry booking

Guests are requested to assist us in ensuring we can carry out cleaning safely by doing the following: 

​

  • Strip beds and place all linen and towels in linen bags provided

  • Clean all crockery, glasses, kitchen utensils etc and put them away in the cupboard.

  • Empty bins and recycling rubbish into main large bins outside.

  • Open at least one window in each room before leaving Holly House.
